Recorded live on May 11th, 1970 at the legendary Fillmore West in San Francisco and broadcast by KSAN-FM, this performance captures The Incredible String Band at the height of their mystical powers. Known for their hypnotic stage presence and genre-defying blend of folk, psychedelia, and world music, the band delivers a set that’s both intimate and otherworldly.
This remastered CD is presented in a 4-panel digipak with an 8-page booklet featuring background notes and archival images. Released by London Calling in 2022, it’s a lovingly curated document of a band whose live shows were as much spiritual journeys as musical events.
