It captures the band’s enduring spirit with a blend of raw rock energy and reflective lyricism. Chrissie Hynde and guitarist James Walbourne co-wrote the album, continuing their remote collaboration style honed on Hate for Sale. Produced by David Wrench, the album features contributions from the Pretenders Collective and a stunning string arrangement by Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) on the closing track. The CD comes in a 4-panel digisleeve with a folded insert including lyrics, credits, and photography — a treat for collectors.
