This release sees ambient-dub pioneers Astralasia reimagine the space-rock legacy of Hawkwind with a suite of expansive, trance-infused remixes. Originally issued by Voiceprint in 2007, the album blends live elements, studio wizardry, and archival vocals from Robert Calvert to create a swirling, otherworldly homage. Several tracks were sourced from earlier remix projects in the '90s and early 2000s, with some recorded live at Hawkfest and others featuring contributions from Simon House and Tim Blake. The result is a heady fusion of cosmic rock and electronic textures—equal parts nostalgia and reinvention.
