The 2015 Expanded Edition CD reissue of the album "Maniac" by the Belgian speed metal band Acid.
Originally released in 1983, this specific version was released by HNE Recordings Ltd. (a subsidiary of Cherry Red Records).
This dose of Acid has nothing to do with late '60s psychedelia or '80s techno; it is pure, female-fronted heavy metal from the cult five-piece band based in Bruges, Belgium. Heavily influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), Acid's sound is a raw mix of speed and power.
